I use an app called MyLibrary. I really like it 🙂 it’s easy to add books (you just scan em). You can sort but author ot title or whatever you want. You can even mark them read so you know how many you’ve read
Libib is a good one. I think the free version lets you store up to 5000 books. I like Goodreads for a reading log but not for books I own. Libib has convenient ways of organizing and viewing them.
@Ashlee there are 2 types of shelves. Exclusive and other. If you made the owned books a exclusive shelf it wont go on any other exclusive shelf. I did mine like this
A non exclusive shelf for owned books so it can be on a exclusive shelf as well. Hope this helps
@Kristyn how many books do you own? The only thing keeping me from trying a different app to catalog all of mine is because I have well over 400. I still havent put them all on goodreads yet lol
@Ashley You can even assign them “Groups” Like I assigned all my books by GoodReads genre and subgenre, then you can also “Tag” them, so I tagged my exclusive editions, signed editions, to-be-read, and read, high priority and low priority, then you can search by all of those within the app!! I had fun yesterday XD
Goodreads? And just make a shelf for books you own
That could work
I do mine through Google Docs
& I made a template if you’re interested:

@Mags goodreads literally took all my books off my read list and put them on my books I own shelf. Why cant I have them on 2 shelves??
Right? I don’t like their shelves system. I only use the read and want to read shelves.

@Mags after I saw this comment, I downloaded the app and 3 hours later every physical book I own is catalogued. I love it ?

@Ashley I own a little over 200 (I’ve unhauled about 200 the past 6 months) and you can simply scan the barcode on the book to enter it!!
@Kristyn thanks! It might be worth it when I move to do it as I’m organizing everything
