Yes. Tell Me Who I Am by Julia Navarro. It’s 1,097 pages, longest book I ever read. Such a good WW II novel. When I finished I wish I could have continued reading about the different characters. Excellent read.

Oh my god YES!! I started a series by Alice Borchardt, but unfortunately she died after releasing book 2 of a trilogy. Book 3 never got written. Never found out what happened in the end…
