The TV show yes. I have the book box set and I haven’t managed to finish it yet. I read the first three and it was good. I found the TV better cause I love Lafayette!
The TV show is quite good, maybe the last two seasons a bit pointless… I read the first two books as well but I found it was quite different from the show, not so intriguing and I didn’t feel like I wanted to continue reading.
I love ❤️ the series by Charlaine Harris which I read first before watching the TV series. I love the TV series but after 1st season it it diverts a lot from the books.
I haven’t read the true blood series yet. But I have read a couple of Charlaine Harris’s other books from a different series. And they were great. She is a fantastic author.
love both books and show – as mentioned the first book is the only one that really stays on par with season 1 of the show – after that they change but for the better i would have like to seen the book storylines on tv.

I gave up on the books after book 12. And I only watched the show because I loved Eric But she had another 4 book series that didn’t get much recognition because this became so popular the grave series their the only books of her I haven’t traded back in
I loved the books! If you like vampires and other creatures, it’s worth reading. As for the tv version, the first few seasons were good, then it went downhill.
The books are fantastic the tv series doesnt go by the books at all (boy was i mad when i watched that show) give it a shot! If you like weird then you will love the books ?

I have ever read the book series but I’m currently on Season 4.

Absolutely, I got so stressed watching the first episode I gave up watching all TV & film versions of books I’ve read!
Get passed the first 5 epidoses and it gets better, but the books are way better

The firdt few books are great. Closer to the end they get kinda weird but are still readable

I just picked up the 10-volume boxed set…Hope it is as good as people say it is.
It’s wonderful! Nothing like the tv series for HBO, that was disgusting. The books are fun, sezy and very entertaining
