I always liked to start with the Hobbit then Lord of the Rings when rereading LOTR. The Hobbit is technically not part of LOTR, it’s a prequel but to me, as part of the experience, it’s great to start with Hobbit. If you like it, do go on to LOTR.
I had to read it once in middle school and once in high school and hated it both times but tried it again this year and really enjoyed it! Gives me hope for lotr!
I liked it very much.
I wonder the same thing.
????
How can you even ask?! I think I feel faint….
Haha I’m guessing you enjoyed it. If it helps I did read LOTR.
@Jennifer I am a huge long time fan of Tolkien and adore both the Hobbit and LOTR books.
