I read it a few years back and cannot remember it now. I googled it and still can’t remember it. SO, I CAN remember books I’ve read years and years ago, so somehow I guess this book did not strike a cord with me for some reason. I advise you to start the book and if the writer’s voice speaks to you, then continue reading. It IS a classic after all.

I really didn’t enjoy it I’m afraid. It kind of seemed pointless and I struggled to finish it. Plenty seem to like it though.

It’s sadder if you read up on the author first. I recommend that. If you Google Sylvia Plath and read about her this book takes on a whole new meaning

Yes I’ve read her poetry mainly, it is sad what had happened to her in real life.

I read it as a teen and was incredibly impressed by it. Don’t know if I find it anything other than depressing now. – but Plath is such a wonderful poet, and the book is a classic, so…. ? If you are interested in Sylvia Plath, I thought Wintering was very well done.
