Only if they’re War & Peace, Gone With The Wind, East of Eden, Les Miserables, Middlemarch, Don Quixote, David Copperfield, Moby Dick, Jane Eyre, and The Three Musketeers.

Of course if they were, I might have to worship you.

1

Brandy

@Dinara which one!?

0
Dinara

@Brandy “From A Buick 8.” I generally like King’s books okay but this one is a real bore.

0
Brandy

@Dinara I havent read that one…not great?

0
Dinara

You know, I have a reading goal. Haha. I can’t quit halfway after investing 3 days into this thing. ?

1
Brandy

Lol. Right?!

0
Dinara

@Brandy ugh, it lacks action and dynamics. Feels like a boring back and forth conversation between old cops.

0
Brandy

Have you read the Mr. Mercedes series?

0
Brandy

Its sort of about an old cop, too but it’s actually good. King seems to have a fascination with cars and old cops. Lol

0
Dinara

@Brandy yes! I did! I actually liked “Mr Mercedes” a lot. It was dynamic and creepy. Haha

1
Marissa

@Dinara From a Buick 8 is one of his less popular books. I’ve read it and I agree, it was a bit of a struggle to get through. I hope you enjoy the next King book you decide to pick up!

0
Brandy

If you havent read The Outsider, do! It was great!!

1
Siena

Nope! ? That’s what dreams are made of. ✨

Nope, I also have not finished one yet, almost done with one, but I keep high lighting lines and sitting there thinking the symbolism in it.

That is 3 books per day. Explain, please. Work, sleep, eat, life issues, and family issues exist. This old, seasoned reader gets through 1 per week.

I dont work, sadly. I usually fall asleep after 3am, I volunteer at a cathedral library twice a week, I see my parents once a week and I eat normally I think. All other time is reading

0

Shoot I’m on my 3rd and 4th book since January 1st and keeping a bibliophile journal to be able to look back at the end of the year.
