They are very different. In fact … it’s better if you watch first … enjoy the movie … then read it and LOVE the book. At the end of it all you will be happy with both ..
And after you read A Wrinkle in Time, there is the rest of the Murry- O’Keefe series: A Wind In The Door ( a year after Wrinkle), Many Waters ( main characters are the twins Sandy and Denys, not Meg and Charles Wallace, who aren’t in the movie)A Swiftly Tilting Planet (10 years after Wrinkle), books featuring thr children of Calvin and Meg -The Arm of the Starfish, Dragons in the Waters, A House Like A Lotus, An Acceptable Time. These books also connect to the Austin Series

@Jennie Agree! LOL I watched the movie first
Thank you guys!
Definitely. That way the movie can be enjoyable. The movie sucks, imo
Winkle! ? I’m guessing that was your Autocorrect. I haven’t read/seen this. Might add it to my Wish List ?
If you want to enjoy the movie, I would watch it first. Or you’ll probably just be really annoyed with what they did to the book…
The book was kinda boring
The movie is different then the book but its up to you
Read the book, it’s a quick easy read and totally worth it
Read the book then the movie
