When my oldest son left for the Air Force I had just had knee surgery so I was off work and a bit depressed. So I read to keep my mind busy.
I lost count how many books I read in just the first 2 weeks.

Yep I ate and cooked and cleaned. I just read while doing the cooking and in between cleaning. I’d reward myself with a chapter after finishing a project lol. I read everything everything by Nicole Yoon, unearthly things by Michelle Gagnon, and dark star by Bethany Frenette

It’s not bad that you read fast and it’s not bad that others read slow. Part of diversity. We are all different and unique human beings, each with our own set of skills and abilities.

Very true. I do happen to read fast.

1

I buy them faster than I can read them so I’ve run out of shelves. Last ones I got are in a box.

I agree with you there. I know there is days where I just can’t get into a book but then I find another one to read instead and then try to rad that one book again.

0
Amy

I agree with both of you . But two weeks ago I hadn’t read for 2 or 3 days … Had numerous other things on my mind & nothing was working out & I was depressed as well.

It depends on how much you enjoyed the book. Its not important that how much book we read and how much fast one reads, the thing is one enjoys a book completely.
