If you read on your phone, most people won’t even notice. They’ll all be scrolling social media.

One of my fave stories from high school. The seventh HP came out the night before one of our non HP reading friend’s grad party. About eighth of us all sat in a circle in the grass reading HP at her party ?

Rebecca Morrison haha no way! She’s my cousin and I love her. My kindness is slightly stronger than my love of HP ? Thanks for looking out though ?

@Beverly haha? I mean we are still close as ever twelve years later so I don’t think she had a problem with our book reading time out. Just relating to reading at a party! Hope you have a good night!

@Sarah I know. I play sit com scenarios out in my head and that just seemed like a perfect one.

Jesus no. I just left one. The only people I really know were the parents and they had gone out to pick up pizza. I wish I had read while I waited.

I hate going to kid’s parties, I hate to do the social thing and have to talk to other moms, that probably have nothing in common with me.

It’s better than gossiping lol. I usually read on my phone and pretend I’m answering emails. That way, I can listen to drama, but I don’t get asked to be involved.

I consider reading a unique way of socializing. You socialize with other people from faraway realms ❤️❤️
