I love it! It’s not for everyone, reviews are a bit polarizing. Give it a shot, you just might like it. ?

Yes. But for the love of everything, do NOT get attached to the characters. Trust me.

My husband loved it, I hated it. It just depends on your tastes. GoT thrives on shock value, I think. It’s a series where no character is “safe.” That, among other things, just didn’t appeal to me.

Yes, very good, but also very violent. You have been warned. ?

Not really, fairly average. This was a VERY hyped seires amongst my friends. I gave it a go and found them to be very average. Book 1&2 are middle ground, book 3 I really enjoyed, book 4&5 I just could not get into.

I didn’t read fantasy until the GOT series appeared on tv. After the first episode I’ve got intrigued and started reading the book. I didn’t stop until I finished the first 4 volumes. The fifth wasn’t released at that moment. I recommend it.

It’s call the song of ice and fire and yes! If you like mystical fantasy. I’ve heard the TV show left out a lot of the mysticism. I’ve never watched it because I knew I would compare it to the books too much.

I have book 1 but I’m waiting until the TV series is finished before I start reading the books. Maybe I can find the rest of the books on sale by then.

Personally I could not get into even the first book. That being said many people love the books. So I say give the books a whirl.

Yes! Though only pick it up if your okay with a headache from the small words, heartache from the author. And hours magically gone because you spent the day reading a fraction of the series ☝️

I read the first 3 or so years ago before it became a tv series. I can’t remember exactly why but I lost interest and never finished the whole series. I think it lost me around the beginning of book 4. I did enjoy as much of it as I can remember… for the most part. It was a bit long-winded. However, I also remember becoming more and more frustrated over (*spoiler*) EVERYONE dying! Lol. Well, I have to first book in my possession again, so I’m thinking about rereading it soon to refresh my memory. Maybe I’ll be able to finish the whole series this time.
