I loved it! In fact, I was finishing it on a flight and had to keep putting it down as I had tears dripping and the other passengers were giving me funny looks ??♀️ x
I read this along time ago. Before all the great new ones came out. I liked it — you cant compare it to the new ones. They are different but this is still good. I love to see that authors can write totally different types of books. So many people complain about their favorite author writing a new book Just Like the last one. I vote .. check it out from the library and if it’s not for you just return it. ?
That’s still on my to-read list!
I loved it! Actually I have loved all of her books that I have been fortunate enough to have read
It’s one of my favorite books. Definitely worth reading!!

Yes! And I’m half way thru the sequel, Fly Away. If you have a friendship that has lasted your entire life you will cry your eyes ouf!
Hmmm didn’t love it but managed to finish it x
I enjoyed both Firefly Lane and the sequel Fly Away
Loved both

I loved that book so much, it was my 1st Kristin Hannah book and now I have read almost every one of her books.
@Melissa Firefly Lane was my first book of hers as well. I’m finishing The Nightingale and then starting Winter Garden

All the yes’!! It’s the book that made me fall in love with reading.
I loved it!
This was too schmultzy for me… I did read most of it, but got an idea where it was headed and put it away.
I felt like it was a Hallmark movie on paper. And I don’t really care for Hannah’s writing style.
@Ronda Same thoughts about the writing style!
Yes loved it
I read a couple of books by the same author and wasn’t impressed with the writing. Have not read Firefly Lane though so maybe it is better!
I loved it and couldn’t put it down so my daughter in law bought me the next book in the series
So worth it! One of the books I reread every couple of years
I’ve enjoyed all Kristin Hannah books…Nightingale was the best, Winter Garden my least favourite, but enjoyed them all.
I couldn’t get into it!

I thought it was sweet & touching, but I can’t say it was on the same level as The Nightingale, which I read immediately prior.
Good. Not great. I knew what was going to happen before I turned the page.
It’s very clichéd
Loved it!
