I didn’t love Norse Mythology even though I’m a huge Gaiman fan. Loved ACOTAR, though.

Seems as though I’ve made you all make a difficult decision ?
The responses are so…. balanced that it would be impossible for me to choose. Which got me thinking. The thing is that it was my birthday yesterday and I got a lot of money, but after I posted this (thinking that I would choose one of the two options) I realised that I always spend my birthday money for bills and stuff. So thanks to your responses, I’m forcing myself to spend all my birthday money on myself this year, which is something I’ve never ever done!
So in total, I’m gonna get 12 books (including both the ACOTAR series and Norse Mythology), one textbook for my studies (I’m a vet student and the textbooks aren’t cheap), and I’m going to donate the rest to various human and animal welfare organisations.
Thank you all for your responses and for forcing me to spoil myself for once! 🙂

Norse Mythology is on my TBR list; I love Neil Gaiman’s writing style. I like the TOG series, but I just could not get into ACOTAR.

our libraries aren’t equipped that well, and there’s no section for books written in English. Plus none of these were translated, very few of the books that I want have been translated 🙁

They’re different types of stories! If you’re more into canon myth with all the “original” characters go for Norse, but if you want a retelling go for ACOTAR
