I just read a book called Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt and thought it was absolutely amazing… I primarily read only horror novels and this was a REALLY good one.
I loved this book!!!! Although I wouldn’t classify it as horror personally. More paranormal thriller. But still absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the read!
I’ve been having such a hard time with scary books lately. I’ve read plenty that are categorized as horror that were great books, just didn’t scare me. And I’m used to being easily scared.
A God in the Shed by JF Dubeau was a great read. Very suspenseful. It is the first in a trilogy and book 2 is still on pre-order through Inkshares. However if you do read AGITS and decide to pre-order book 2, doing it through that site gets you a signed copy delivered to your door, so it might be worth the wait ?
So good right? And easily one of the most original horror plots I’ve come across in quite some time. I’ve been trying so hard to explain it to people but I can’t really compare it to anything.
Did you read the physical or ebook? The physical copy makes me melt because the cover art and binding style are just so amazingly perfect for the story. I’m gonna stop now because I loved this book so so much and I’m turning into a fangirl over here ??
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz was a great read! Also a series if you want to keep up your adventures with Odd.
Nos4a2 by Joe Hill
