I think the one exception was the Hunger games. I hated the books, but I thought the movies were pretty good.
I enjoyed both very much and they even gave me inspiration to write.
I really was not a fan of the movies, but the books are really good. Stephanie Meyer gets a lot of flack but I think she is a great author. When you are done that series you should read The Host by her, one of my favourite novels of all time❤️❤️

If you liked the movies, then you’ll like the books. I personally think the movies were pretty bad, but I really enjoyed the books for what they were. Not mind blowing literature by any means, but entertaining for sure.

Yes. I watched the first movie before I read the books. I enjoyed the books. Really easy reads and extra info and scenes that were enjoyable.
The book that was ‘The short second Life of Bree Tanner’ (in my opinion) really added to the story. I wish that they added that to the movies!

I remember when twilight came out it honestly, in my opinion, revolutionized the YA market. it made YA what it is today. When I was actually like 13-17 there was hardly ANY fantasy sci fi for teens, the ones there were I read lol. I say go for it, it’s like classic YA at this point lol.

I absolutely loved the books, though I’ve read them quite a few years ago. The only movie I actually liked was the first one, the rest could have been better, but the books are actually quite good in my opinion. So if you feel like it, I think you should give them a go. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I know a lot of people make fun of the books BUT I do think you should give it a go. They got me into reading and I’ll always be grateful for that. But the overall message/relationship is problematic so just keep that in mind? 🙂
