I’m reading Intensity by Dean Koontz and I can’t stop! It’s my first Dean Koontz book. I think I’ll have to find another one by him.

You won’t regret it. I’ve been reading his books for over 27 years. I’ve read them all and they are all great! One of my earlier favourites was Lightning but it’s been over 20 years since I read that, Strangers as well.

I have been reading Koontz since the 80s, once of my absolute favourites! His later books are even better. You will soon be hooked!

I almost bought this one. I forced myself to choose Tick Tock, Intensity, or Velocity. Intensity won lol.

Try ‘Stragers’ and ‘Watchers’. When you read his ‘Odd Thomas’ books, I suggest you read them in order of publication.

I prefer to read a series in order unless I know each book can be read as stand alone.

Koontz question…I read this one ages ago and can’t remember the name, but fairly sure it was Koontz. The kid (maybe named Bartholomew?) can “run where the rain isn’t” and there’s a crazy killer guy trying to hunt him down for some reason. Ring any bells?

You are absolutely right. I too read his first book ” The Good Guy” and was amazed by his writing and now i have collected more than 20 books of his and still counting. Dean Koontz you rock.

Watchers is on my top ten of all books lists. Odd Thomas is a fun series, if fighting demons is your idea of fun. But the characters are so normal, other than that.
