I’m looking for some historical romance books. Any recommendations?

I like Joanna Lindsey, (until she “fixated” on the Mallory family.) Her earlier works covered many different time periods and locations in Europe and the United States.
I also like Phillipa Gregory, who has written a number of historical romances focusing on the Brittish Monarchy, (from the “War of the Roses” and later.)

The Notorious Mrs. Winston by Mary Mackey was really good. It’s set during the American Civil War. Outlander was also a good one.
