I’m looking for a police procedural series to read any Reccomendations? I’ve already got Peter James, Lisa Gardner and Chris Carter.

Simon Kernick, Paul Finch, Kerry Wilkinson, Sharon Bolton, Mark Billingham, Luca Vesta, Mark Sennen, Robert Bryndza, Luke Delaney are all police procedurals set in the UK. They are all similar style writers. Michael Connelly has the excellent Harry Bosch solving crime in the States.

Depends on what kind of police procedural you’re looking for, hardboiled or more in something like Midsomer Murders (Caroline Graham) or inspector Morse (Colin Dexter)? In that case go for Donna Leon, Elly Griffiths, Louise Penny, Kate Atkinson, (and I could mention my Faukon Abbey series too), have cops as the ones solving the crimes, also PD James, Ngaio Marsh, Ruth Rendell and Peter Robinson are good ones too.
