My mom and I do this! Some of the ones we’ve enjoyed: several Colleen Hoover books (contemporary fiction/romance), The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager (mystery/thriller), A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman (contemporary fiction), and A Place to Call Home by Deborah Smith (romance).

@Kathy It’s a mystery/thriller by Riley Sager. I couldn’t stop reading it and loved all the twists and turns!

My Mom introduced me to Harlan Coben books, and we would buy for each other and then share. She’s been gone 11 years now. Wish we could still enjoy books together

I’m going old school. Anne of Green Gables. My mom and I laughed so hard sharing that book. We laughed, we cried and we loved it.

Kristen Hanna’s Firefly Lane. While the main focus is friendship, there is another mother/daughter storyline as well.
