Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern; David Eddings’ The Belgariad and The Mallorean (5 books each); Terry Brooks’ Sword of Shannara (only 3 in each trilogy, but many trilogies in the same world, following the same family) and Magic Kingdom for Sale, Sold (5 books, and lots of fun!); Piers Anthony’s Magic of Xanth (over 25 books, and lots of puns), The Apprentice Adept, and Incarnations of Immortality series….and those are just the fantasies! Lillian Jackson Braun’s The Cat Who…. mysteries; Agatha Christie’s books, while not exactly series, do feature multiple books with the same few detectives, so though each book stands alone, you can follow that detective through numerous mysteries.

‘Into The Wilderness’ six book series that is great! Written much in the way ‘Outlander’ is but follows a whole different story. I RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY! The author is Donati. Give it a look!
