Good for you!!! Going to the bookstore to buy first books for your baby is SO MUCH FUN!!!
My son loved board books with fuzzy things he could touch. There are lots of them with different textures. The colors are bright and the interaction is a good thing. Congrats on creating a brand new lover of books!!! Have fun ?

Any board books with simple pics of everyday item and things, eg bathtime, bedtime etc, also ones with animals. For stories to read, try for Dear Zoo, Oh Dear, Where is the Green Sheep, Peepo, Time For Bed, Spot. The authors of each these books write many incredibly lovely books for little ones, you can’t go wrong.
