Yes, Please by Amy Poehler or Bossy Pants by Tina Fey. Both are funny and whitty and have helped pull me out of many a funk. (Yes, I’ve read them a few times ☺)

I love that book (A Child Called It) and have such appreciation for the author. I’m not sure it’s a good read for someone that is depressed. I wasn’t depressed when I read it and it broke my heart.

What? How so? IMO, please don’t read if you’re depressed. I agree with Barbara, I am not even depressed but it sure will make you feel that way.

Made me feel as if things weren’t that bad after all. It gave me healthy perspective. It made me thankful.

Biographies of great men. What you’re facing at this moment, these struggles, this time of distress; you’ve to accept it, you’re not the first one and won’t be the last. Great men and women have won this war before. I believe you’ll find motivation as well tactics which can help you in your battles. God bless you. ?
