This book is a slow burn but it does pick up and ultimately it’s a really great and unique story. However, if it isn’t grabbing you there’s no shame in moving on to something else. Life’s too short and all. ?

My neighbor often passes books to me that her daughter passes to her…….I thought this book was terrible.

I think this is also a bit of a “marmite book” (you either loved it or you couldn’t stand it) because it’s in the fantasy genre.

I totally loved this book, but if you aren’t into it, I’m a big believer in putting it down and moving onto something you like better. Life’s too short to spend time trying to stick with a book you aren’t enjoying, and there are SO many other books out there waiting to be discovered! ?
Definitely! I adored that book but it is a little slower in the beginning.
