I like Jeff wheeler. He has a few trilogies that are quite good!
agreed, his books aren’t bad, and the audiobook for them is free with kindle unlimited as well.
Melissa F. Olson has some pretty good urban fantasy books that are free with audio on K.U.

Besides LOTR and Harry Potter my answer is a disappointed no. Unlimited was not worth it at all.
@John That’s what I’m finding as well – other than the post apocalypse genre.
I started feeling the same way but recently some new stuff popped up and I’m enjoying it again.

I think the Off To Be A Wizard series was free through KU it’s a sci-fi fantasy mix.
