I found it kinda slow and confusing at first, but ended up enjoying it. I recommend trying to stick it out if you can. It got better for me. Good luck!

I’m reading this now, too. I am loving it! I read before bed and find myself going back over what I read throughout the day to try to solve the mystery. Although now that I am 300 pages in I feel like there is about to be more to the story than just solving the mystery so now I’m trying to guess what that will be, too.

Keep going it’s slow to start with but then it just gets really good out of nowhere . Or at least I thought it did 🙂

For me it was overly confusing and slow. I would say its quite slow and then picks up a bit at the end. It didn’t work for me ?‍♀️

I’m surprised, I’m 50 pages in and hooked! I don’t read a ton of mystery tho so it’s very new and exciting for me

I struggled with this book for a most of it. It got better and the resolution to the mystery was interesting. I hated the last few pages tho…

I LOVED this book! Not usually a mystery reader but loved how intricate the story was

I’ve been struggling, I started it a few weeks ago and can only do a chapter or so at a time before I set it down and read something lighter between, I started the audiobook version today where I was in the book because I had a 2 hour drive and doubled my progress so hopefully that will help ?

I say if you make it past the second host and still don’t like it than dnf. The pacing gets a lot faster as the book continues but the tone stays the same. So it depends on what you don’t like about it

I just DNFed it after 300 pages! Couldn’t keep track of what was going on and I just stopped caring
