If you read ten books a day, every day from the day you were born to age 14, you wouldn’t be through all the amazing books out there! There is plenty more out there. I’m guessing you are just out of good recommendations from the people you know.

Definitely ask real people, like you are doing here, but also consider trying a website like this one: http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/ You plug in the name of a book you liked, and it comes up with suggestions for books that have similar qualities.

Don’t limit yourself to teen fiction. But don’t rule it out, either! There is lots of great teen fiction out there!

On the teen fiction front, have you read John Green? Best known for the “Fault in Our Stars.” How about John Marsden, who has a great series, “Tomorrow, When The War Began.” It has a little romance but a lot more adventure and real life lessons.

Sweet girl, you haven’t even begun to read all the good books!!

I’m proud of you for reading, now take it to the next level, get out of your comfort zone, and read books that tell you about the history of humanity, of animals, of the world, of nations and states, of thought, of power and control, of women. The list is endless and lifelong, my darling. Happy trails to you….

You haven’t read all the good books. And you’ve come to the right place for suggestions. I vote with Naomi. I think you would love I Capture the Castle, which has a 17-yr-old narrator and lots of quirky characters. It’s considered a classic in England, and there’s a movie of it, too.
