I LOVE that book! 🙂

1
Kassandra

@Katie the first person ever to comment whenever I mention this book! No one seems to have ever heard of it ! I think it’s such a shame and it’s one of my favorite classics! It’s definitely a diamond in the rough

1
Katie

I discovered it a couple of years ago through Goodreads. I’d only read the first Anne book until then, but the review I read made the book sound like it was right up my street, and it was. Very modern for the time it was written. Sure, there’s a bit of wish fulfilment involved, but sometimes you need that! I love it. I want to reread it soon, and ALL the Anne books. Montgomery was a good writer, clever and funny 🙂

1
Kassandra

That’s great to hear i actually want to read her other books I saw the book in a recommendations post somewhere online and it did not disappoint I definitely want to read her Emily of new moon series!

1
Katie

Yeah, finding recommendations online and ending up loving the book is so good 🙂 I have all the Anne books on my kindle, so I really need to read them soon, and the Emily books. I can recommend Jane of Lantern Hill as well.

1
Kassandra

Thanks I definitely will add it to my Tbr!
