I have read first two books on my e-reader and watched the Jim Carrey movie and watched the Netflix series. This is one series worth having on the shelf. ?
I adooooooore that series <3 Wasn't a fan of the movie (at. all.) but the Netflix series was really good from the few episodes I've managed to squeeze in.
@Rohen I actually liked the Jim Carrey movie as well, I haven’t completely finished the Netflix series yet. It is coming back for another season I hear
Depending where you are, you can get the entire series in a huge box. That’s how I got the books for one of my sisters for Christmas last year. Otherwise, I’d suggest going to used bookshops or online. Sometimes, you’ll find people who are getting rid of six books at a time.
@Paula Getting the box set was ridiculous for the price, but I managed to get a good sale before Christmas. It’s regular price $230 Canadian, but I got it for a really good deal because the ‘box was damaged’ for a little over $90. Thirteen books for $90 Canadian is worth the price. At least that is what I think.
Last year I bought ‘Hex’ by Thomas Olde Heuvelt & I can’t say which this year because the person might see this post?
I would get Lauren a UK first edition set of Harry Potter books, signed by Rowling ;). Hey, I said anything! lol
I would steal it for sure XD
Demon-haunted world by carl sagan to everyone on this planet.
Harry Potter Series in hardback for my Grandson who is 8 years old.
Harry Potter makes a lot of kids happy 🙂 🙂
I tried to read TIME MACHINE to him over Thanksgiving. He had no interest.
A Series of Unfortunate Events to myself (still don’t have them on shelf…been on my list for a decade now)
We just finally got the last two a few months ago
I love that series. I was hoping to get it this year, but didn’t happen. Next year… hopefully! ?
@Rohen Have you watched the Netflix series?

I deliberately stopped reading after book 2. I did not have the heart to read e-editions of such an amazing series!
Definitely worth getting!
Yes, I am looking forward towards next season as well @Paula. Now I want these books even more. ?
It would have been this year had Sir Terry Pratchett not come along. ?

True, but assuming you have the means to be able to get all at once. that’s my problem at times
