Not sure if this qualifies as fantasy, but you should try the author Kaylie Lanshaw

If you’ve never read Madeleine L’Engle, now’s your chance. (She’s becoming highly visible – again – as A Wrinkle In Time has been made into a film. I’m sorry to say that it’s animated.)

The first three Sword of Shannara books. I know there are a lot of them, but these are the only ones I have read so far.

If you like Urban Fantasy Romance Nalini Singh’s Archangels and Diana Marik’s Seven Deadly Veils series are pretty good. Love the action and suspense. And some very intense chemistry between characters.

Brandon Sanderson is my favorite fantasy author, though I recommend reading one of his standalones before jumping into his huge epic series. Warbreaker or Emperor’s Soul would he a great start.

One of my favorite genres. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R.Martin, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein.

Also The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, this is not classified as fantasy, but I think it qualifies. ?
