The Broken Girls by Simone St James has a supernatural ghostly bent to it – historical thrillery kinda thing.

Her other books are better, and more ghosty! I recommend Lost among the Living.

I had just finished a book by Ryan Buell. He was the main investigator on a tv show, Paranormal State. It’s a pretty good read! He recommended to also read Ed and Lorraine Warren’s book, The Demonologist and Hostage to the Devil by Malachi Martin. Those are good ghost stories but with real accounts of the paranormal.
Teri Reid also has great ghost stories.
The Haunting of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James is really good.

The Dead House by Billy O’Callaghan– set on the west coast of Ireland and more than a ghost story. EXCEPTIONAL writing! Has won many awards 🙂
