More than I can really afford…but not anywhere near as much as I’d like lol

Given all the secondhand booksales I get to, I’d say maybe $10-20 some months. Though I’ve had three different sales on as many Saturdays as well.

I’m a heavy library user so not much. I did pay the largest fine of my life last month. $15. Ouch. But I probably average $10-15 a month on books…between used booksales or library fines
My library would write off the fee or I wait until November (amnesty month)
Ours lets you bring in food up to $5 for food pantry instead of cash. I forgot to renew about 30 books (between my children and myself) for a few days and we were locked out (you get locked at $10). I look at it as my user fee. My entire family are heavy library users typically having about 50-70 items out at a time. So it’s money well spent on the occasional fine
I think my library has a Max of 10? It’s also a tiny library.

Too Much
I shop 3 times a year at my library booksale and spend about $30 each time. Might pick up a book here and there at rummage sales thrift shop, etc. Overall less than $10 a month. I get books from the library a lot as well.
I spend at least 100 a month sometimes 200 sometimes nothing lol

My parents complaign that i spend too much(95%) of my monthly allowance on books rather than clothes or shoes like normal teens

My mom used to ask how to punish me because she didn’t want to take away my book. Because instead of going out with other teens my age, I’d sit at home and read.
omg same here!!my mum gives me punishment by actually telling me to go out and socialize hahaha

My husband in an accountant and has frequently told me that I spend at least $50.00 a month on books… I regret nothing! ??
I’d average it to $45-$50 when I am buying books.
Haha. I wish i could monthly..its more like..oo bills are paid i have extra. Tax return time i spend about $150

Sometimes as much as $60. Not counting books I bought from people on Facebook cause they were practically free and shipping doesn’t count LOL
Between £20 to £40 a month (mainly ebooks). I mean, it’s not even the cost of a decent night out…….

In April and May, I spent over $200 in books. So far this month, I have spent about $40/$50.
I try not to send too much money. I have my kindle that I down load books on and also go to Barnes & Noble .
Library always
If we all pooled that money together, we could build a library that would put Belle’s to shame ?
I mostly do the library, and pick up used books sometimes at garage sales and such. It is my treat when we go on vacation to find a used book store to splurge at. I usually spend around $60, and that’s a twice a year thing
