^ that! In that order. Absolutely drives me crazy when people say you can skip the Liveship Trilogy! ? It’s always the people who never read them that say you didnt have to… The truth is a lot of the characters from the Liveship Trilogy appear throughout the Assassins Trilogy. It cool when you’re reading along and you’re like; wait that’s Winthrow or that’s Selden! Plus the Lifeship Trilogy sets the ground for later plots and you miss a huge part of the Tawny Man’s story/history.

@Brian drives me crazy too!! Why would anyone recommend skipping 1/2 the story ??‍♀️

I started with the Liveship Trilogy (because someone gave me “Ship of Magic”), and it is perhaps my favorite of all these. But I agree, read them in order.

Plus, they introduce you to the awesome Dragons of Hobb, and their complex life cycle.

I would start by cancelling my plans for the next month ? Then follow Tatiana’s ‘map’.

Don’t skip over the live ship books regardless of what some people say. Those people are wrong.
