I want to select a thought-provoking non fiction book. Any thoughts?

I’m hosting our monthly book club in August. I want to select a thought-provoking non fiction book. I’m considering The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Any thoughts?

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is great book if you haven’t read it yet. It is among the top 10 most downloaded non-fiction reads on Amazon of all time. 125 different cities or institutions of higher education chose it as their all-city/campus read. I think it is a must read if you haven’t read it yet.

Wonderful book. I have a few other non.fiction suggestions which our club also enjoyed:
The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace generated more interesting conversation than Henrietta. It’s more contemporary as it deals with a brilliant, poor, urban, young black man who is given a full scholarship to Yale.
In the Garden of the Beasts. About Germany just before the start of WW 2, through the eyes of the American ambassador and his family.
