Patricia Briggs writes the Mercy Thompson series about werewolves and other magic characters. Eileen Wilkes has the world of the Lupi about werewolves and magic. Both are really good.

If you like the supernatural more generally, the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong. There are witches, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures.

@KS I love the books, the question is which direction the Author will take them. I enjoyed ‘Times Convert’ but would rather have more Diana and Mathew. Did you know that it is a TV series now too? A very good one.

The Essex Witch Museum series by Syd Moore, it isn’t magical per se, but was definitely a fun read. The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne, The Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch.

Try the Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. Le Guin. It’s about magic but wizards rather than witches. Excellent.
