Black dagger brotherhood is an adult series just to state. Not YA. I loved that series for maybe 6 books and then i got bored. Same thing with Sherrolyn Kenyon’s dark hunter series. All very sexy books but they started seeming very one note to me.
The Blood of Eden series by Julie Kagawa is a vampire/dystopian twist. Book one is The Immortal Rules. Also agree with all of the Vampire Academy recs, and the Chicagoland (Some Girls Bite is book 1) series by Chloe Neill is great too!

Plus, The storyline with Sydney Sage is something you definitely want to follow. (Not to mention Adrian Ivashkov’s storyline!!!!)
It’s New Adult but The Blood Series by Tamara Rose Blodgett is great… and you can get the first 3 books on Kindle as a box set for free and the second 3 as a set for $8.99
I’ve read some books of Laurell K. Hamilton. She is a GREAT fantasy writer. I was totally flabbergasted and I remember her stories clearly. I can reccomend her with love. I don’t know if she has books with vampires. But she has something with a special agent which kills zombies and a series with elves and magical creatures. I’ve read those in translation, so she will have more books 😉
Not a series but The People’s History of the Vampire Uprising by Raymond Villareal is amazing. I guess for series I’d say The Strain series by Guillermo del Toro is top notch. NOT the show though. Don’t venture there.
