Gerald’s Game – Stephen King. (Never mind the TV version)…. Wicked half page connection with his book Dolores Claiborne which has a similar connection with Gerald’s Game. This is what inspired me to become a writer.
It’s so good! Gave me my first ever book hangover lol I really want to reread it but it’s still so fresh in my mind even though I read it in 2016, it’s stayed with me 🙂
Honestly the Pendergast series by Lincoln and Child, the first several books in the series are borderline horror and there is an abundance of suspense. The first one is called Relic.
Anything written by joe hill!
THIS. I am rereading Heart Shaped Box right now and highly recommend it

One of my favorite series! I can’t wait for the new book.
Patricia Cornwell’s book on Jack the Ripper, “Portrait of a Killer”. Cornwell has a different take on who she thinks Jack is and why she thinks it.
Mine by Robert McCammon.
Apt Pupil by Stephen King did it to me recently.
I love those kinds of books.
