I think I’m the only person who hasn’t read Fangirl. Is it a good book? It’s compared to so many other books.

IT’S REALLY REALLY GOOD! I got my cousin to read it, who NEVER reads books, and she loved it!

I liked it but it was not terribly memorable (then again, I am kinda “meh” on most YA books…)

I liked it, but it’s part of its genre, romantic YA, several references to comics and fandom and such. You don’t need to get them or understand them to enjoy it, but if you do, it’s way more memorable and fun.

I own it! Bought it for my kid when she was like 8, first page, if I recall, had a bad word on it and we were like unmmmm yeah maybe save it for when you’re a little older ? she’s 11 now and now I can’t find it!

My daughter read is and loved it. I read it and had a fight with her about one of the plot points.

I started it, didn’t enjoy it, went back to it a few months later and LOVED it. It really is a hit or miss book. Carry On, which is a bit of a spin off is better, and you don’t need to read fangirl to get it! ?

I personally loved it but I also preferred Carry On. You don’t need to read one to understand the other, it does help but you don’t have too
