I haven’t read Dear Martin but I didn’t particularly enjoy THUG as much as others did.

I just finished Dear Martin last night and I liked it & the hate u give was good considering the points they are trying to talk about

True ? but I agree what the other person said with too much expectation I finished the book so quickly Bc it was being talked about

Yeah there no justice for the poor guy and I don’t wanna give away too many spoilers for people who haven’t read it but I definitely didn’t like the ending

You should read All American Boys. Similar to Hate u Give but I thought it was better
I’ve read THUG, Dear Martin, All American Boys, Tyler Johnson Was Here, and Speak No Evil. I think they are all valuable and bring new and different perspectives on an extremely important issue. I think my favorite was All American Boys though!
