I started reading Verity by Colleen Hoover and now I’m half considering canceling my dinner plans to keep reading it. Thanks a lot, y’all.

I had to put it down to go to sleep for classes the next day. It was torture. Came home and finished it as fast as I could!

So I went to the dinner and then stayed up late to finish the book and I am not OK. ?

(Spoilers)

My favorite chapter was the one in which Verity talks about aborting herself with a hanger. I’m severely tokophobic and this is the first time I’ve come across something in a book that resembles a character with tokophobia, so I could relate. I was kind of disappointed to find out at the end that it may not have been her true feelings.

The thing that bugged me throughout the book was how careless everyone was about condoms and stuff. They might be ok with unplanned pregnancies but I mean what about STDs? Nobody got tested!
