They are very intense with their love for one another but I think it starts to die down and other people’s tales come in. Remember Jamie was a virgin when they got married so that’s why I say it’s the honeymoon stage. They do still get it on in the other books but not as much and that’s all there really was to do back then anyway besides work.
I’ve read the whole series at minimum of 4 or 5 times.
How far into the book are you? I’m just curious if the story has had a chance to really develop. ~now I’m thinking on it, trying to figure out where the story gets going!
I was hooked on it very early in the first book, so it’s possible it’s just not your cup of tea ?
I just couldn’t get into this series. I’ve tried since a friend raves about them. Plus the books are so thick it flares my carpal tunnel just holding them open.
I have rheumatoid arthritis. There are so many books that hurt me. Someone recommend ordering the book seat off amazon. It’s at the mail my hubby is brining it tonight. I can’t wait to try it. I’m so excited and hopeful.

I really liked the first book. I found the second book boring and too political. I have been putting off reading the 3rd book.
