Fawkes was very good. The Martian and Artimus by Andy Weir are both amazing. But I listened to those which probably helped me not get bored by the sciences parts. Haha.

To Kill a Kingdom…thought admittedly I don’t like stand alone fantasy. I usually use Fantasy for my series and stand alones for my Contemporary reads.

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson is a cool fae one. And The Siren by Kiera Cass is really good too. I don’t read too much standalone either

I think stand alone books are a nice change from series. Get a good book in with new characters and plots.
