I read so many books that I’m thinking about signing up for kindle unlimited. Have any of you tried it as I would love to know if it’s any good?

You can get a months trial subscription. I found I had already purchased a lot of the books that were available to download, but give it a go for a month and see how you get on. As long as you remember to cancel the subscription it is free, I had no problems cancelling.

I’ve signed up for it now. It says you are only 10 books at a time. Is that per month?

No, just at any time. If you have 10 out (I do all the time!) you simply return one in order to get a new/different one. The default to return is the book you’ve had out longest but you can easily change that and choose a different one to return. You’ll also be pleased to know that box sets that are available in Kindle Unlimited count as one book!

Thanks Susan. I’m an avid reader and as an insomniac devour books at a tremendous rate lol.

You can have 10 at a time but can have as many a month you want just return the ones you’ve already read to get more ?

Wouldn’t be without it. Don’t expect the big and famous authors (Cornwell, Reichs, Patterson, Childs, McDermid etc.) but there are so many good stories written by independent self-publishing writers. Many of them are now with publishers and still available on Unlimited – Oliver Tidy, Robin Roughley, LM Krier, KA Richardson, Andrew Barrett, Joy Ellis, and many more, have written series that are well worth the subscription.

I’ve read several of Joy Ellis’ books. Looking forward to discovering new authors. Thanks Shelagh.

Also they put new books on pretty often. I typically read at least 3-5 per week and have been using this for a couple of years. I have never run out of new books to choose from.
