Im busy with the cycle it gets a bit annoying half of the first book is filled with childish jabs and bickering between blays and dante
You are not happy with it ?
It’s annoying but hey I’ll finish the books my momma didn’t raise no quitters
Again. Once they start headed to Norashtavik it picks up and gains momentum.
Theft of swords is amazing! Highly recommend
Both are great! Have fun!
Theft is awesome. One of my top two fantasy series
Hey Troy , what would be the other one in the top 2??
Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams
I look at those, thanks.
Cycle of Arawn is so good. The first book is a little boring till they meet Robert and start making their way to Norashtivik is when it really gains momentum. The second book was sooo goooood. And the third was a great ending for it. Cycle of Galand is now being realeased. I have the first book in that story but I haven’t read it yet.
Both are good books. I like Dante and Blays a bit more than Royce and Hadrian, but I feel like Sullivan is a more developed writer. Enjoy!
Theft of Swords is amazing!! I’m just now finishing up the last of his Hadrian and Royce works.
There’s another Chronicles coming
Sullivan is currently in the middle of releasing a new series (2 books so far) that take place 1000 years before Royce and Hadrian. It’s really good. He is kind of a unique writer because he completes a series before he releases the first book so you always know that the next book is coming unlike authors lik rothfus or martin
And there’s another Chronicles (past adventures of Hadrian and Royce that take place before Theft) and another series that takes place between First Empire (the current series) and Theft
Theft of swords by Michael J Sullivan?
Yes that’s the one!
@Kris great books. Him and David Gemmell are my favourite authors.
@Andy , thanks I will look at him..
Ryan Anthony the Drenai series are great. Legend was his first book and its an easy read and his writing gets better. I would read them in published order, rather than all the Druss books and then all the waylander books. He has also written a few stand alones and and his 4 book Rigante series is also a winner. Fairly easy reads but all with great storylines. If you like battles, magic, assassins and an old man with an axe you will love his works.
Ryan Anthony let me know what you think of them.
Great author. He has done the Ryria chronicles and revelations and is part way through a series based before all of the other books.
The series is finished… The publishers are just holding onto the books and releasing one a year. He writes the whole series before turning them over to his publisher, so they’re done… But the publishers are trying to let audiences build so that the release numbers will be bigger.
@Seth yes I am aware of this. What i meant is only some of them are available to read
I actually got the cycle of arwan free on Kindle downloads. Didn’t make it past the halfway way point of the first book.
Just didn’t grab me.
I got it too. Took me a while to get into it. Try and finish the first book. It really does get good.
