Well, since you asked! Mare Pearl and I co-wrote a trilogy set in contemporary rural New Mexico, character-driven, award winning novels, very connected to the land and the people of New Mexico. We are published by UNM Press. The titles are: Sunlight and Shadow, A Growing Season, and our recent release, Long Night Moon. For more info: http://www.boggioandpearl.com/
Lynn, I just saw you’re originally from Iowa! Mare and I grew up in West Des Moines and have been writing together since we were ten years old. By the way, The Music Man is my favorite musical! Small world!
@Lynne I knew a Steve Westfall who was in a class or two ahead of me at Valley. I didn’t know any Maddens, though. But I’m from class of ’72, ancient history! We’re having our reunion in August during state fair time. Mare and I will be signing books at Barnes and Noble in WDM, in case you want to come see your cousins the weekend of August 19!
Hunger Games Suzanne Collins , All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, The Royals Trilogy by Erin Watt, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, Darcy’s Tale by Stanley Michael Hurd, Supernatural Prison Jaymin Eve, Cameron Saga: Civil War Trilogy by Heather Graham, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and Night Angel by Brent Weeks.
I hadn’t either till just a few weeks ago. Although someone said only Night is actually non-fiction, the other 2 draw from his experiences but are actually fiction. I just started reading Night again after reading it years ago but I have the other 2 to follow with.
I haven’t read it yet- it’s on my tbr list. But with jusr reading the 3 main books, I’d be content being done with the series with how it is. But definitely need to check that one out tho!
