I like Jane Austen’s books. No sex, but plenty of romantic longing. Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion are my favorites.

Thomas’Hardy’s Far From The Madding Crowd is also good if you like a slow burn.

Try ‘A Man Called Peter’ by Catherine Marshall.

The Glimpses of the Moon by Edith Wharton was good.

My favorite love story is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
