The Surrender Experiment by Michael A Singer. It’s his autobiography about how he decided to just go with the “flow of life” and just take on whatever the Universe puts in front of him. He went on to build a community in Florida, and built a multi million dollar business from scratch. It’s a crazy true story, and very inspiring. I burned through it in a weekend.

could someone suggest a great romance adventure (fiction) romance with a happy ending please? For the sake of clarifying, I typically enjoy fantasy and young adult fiction, but not too shallow. For example Hunger Games was interesting, but the last two books i found too depressing… Maybe something more positive?

I find that when it comes to books, what is one’s treasure, it’s another’s trash. Sorry for the phrase in reverse, but it suits better in this case. So many times, when I decided to follow someone’s suggestion, I couldn’t stand the book. Anyway, follow your gut and get something you feel it’s your reading style. What do you usually like to read? If you narrow your choices, you may get more suitable suggestions for yourself.

Chiefs by Stuart Woods, Inspector Lynley books by Elizabeth George, and Peter Robinson mysteries. Barbara Kingsolver’s Prodigal Summer, Water Music by T.C. Boyle, Rosamunde Pilcher and Maeve Binchy for family sagas with romance.

This book affected me in ways I can’t explain. It made me think. Really really think. I’d consider it one of the best books I’ve ever read and definitely one of my all time favourites.

I also read it in practically one sitting. Not much in the way of food or sleep was had. ?
