Henry and Mudge was a big favorite at our house.
The Magic Treehouse Series was beautifully written. It has a little adventure and a moral per book in the series. Plus it will give the little one a chance to think what they would do in that situation. There are also nonfiction guides that go along with the topic of each book in the series to explain what it means.
? These are the best! They’re engaging and fun for adults as well. Plus there are a ton of them, so little readers have a plethora to choose from.

Little House on the Praire books were some of my favorite growing up. Series of unfortunate events is also a fun read.
Magic Tree House books
The Kingdom of Wrenly series is a great fantasy series. My 7 year old loved them!

Ivy and Bean, and Heidi Hecklebeck are the chapter books my daughter devoured at age six.

My son has all of Dogman and preordered the next one.
We are reading the owl diaries and love them. Also dog man, Ramona Quimby, diary of a whimpy kid, dork diaries the list goes on!
Yes Dogman is one of my sons favorites. Diary of a Whimpy Kid is good.
And of course you can’t go wrong with the Geronimo Stilton books!!!
My son has yet to read any if these and he owns a few.

They say Branches at the top of the binding. They are amazing and thats what got my son into reading.
