Surprisingly I have no problem with noise, I read in break time In school which a lot of students talk and make a lot noise. I even listen to music while reading, not just calm music tho.

It depends on how interesting the book is. Most of the time I can tune out irritants like the tv, video games, husband, but sometimes I have trouble keeping my attention in the book.

Outside on the patio with a drink and snacks with just nature sounds is best. TV, voices, etc distract me and take away from the book.

It depends on what I’m reading. It just depends on if I’m focused on the book or not. If I want to focus on the book but can’t then silence is golden. Other times I am able to focus on a book whether or not there is anything in the background.

That would never occur in my house. Between the snuffles, grunts, and other noises I won’t mention coming from my husband & 3 dogs, there is always some little noise. By biggest challenge is getting my husband to understand my opening a book does not mean THAT is time for a conversation ?
