I really don’t have a preference as long as it grabs my attention. I read books so fast that series work better for me.

Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time, Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files, Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series.

Joanne Fluke. She has like 40 something for the Hannah Sweden series. Leslie Meiser is also a few books within her series.

Stephen King’s books more series than short ones. James Patterson as well.

JF was good at the start- her editor stopped working at some point and her writing is not believable.

The Eleanor of Aquitaine Series and William Marshal Series by Elizabeth Chadwick if you like medieval historical fiction based on real people and events.

The Seven Sisters Series by Lucinda Riley if you want something more modern.
