I need a super captivating audiobook suggestion please!

Hi! I need a super captivating audiobook suggestion please!

Hubby and I are flying internationally with the baby overnight and I envision myself holding the baby the entire time and unable to sleep (while the hubby sleeps soundly right next to me) grrr lol? ??

Ideally, I need a book that isn’t super popular right now because I don’t have time to be wait listed at the library. Not picky ab genre as long as it’s fiction TIA! ??

Not in any way similar, but for pure entertainment, there is a YA book called Boom (by Mark Haddon) that is the funniest narration I’ve ever heard. The story is only so-so, but the narration is so good that I recommend it to everyone who needs some humor in their lives!

Thanks, I like YA

Anything you can pick up by Jodi Picoult. And actually the baby may surprise you and sleep as much as your husband! Do you have a bulkhead seat so you can get a crib?

No, she weighs too much for the bassinet, according to AA rules, ugh!! We have two seats by themselves in the back, I have a travel bassinet that I plan to lay on the tray tables, I’m not a good plane sleeper anyways. Pray for us ha ha!!

^ seconded. so far, he’s contributed far less (babymaking is far more fun for guys, not to mention less physically demanding). he’s up. he’ll respect and appreciate you more, not less, as a result. 🙂 and you’ll both get a chance to rest a little.

Check for books by Philip Pullman. I have a couple of his trilogies and they are most excellent — which is why I kept them rather than donating them. They are worth listening to repeatedly.

Lonesome Dove is wonderful, Will Patton is the narrator, so good. One of my favorites. Girl Waits With Gun, historical fiction, series of three, didn’t have to wait for first two from library. Do you use Overdrive?
