What kind of books do you like Sydney? I try to alternate my reading between genres. If you like British crime I have just finished “The Skeleton Room” by Kate Ellis, its number 7 in the Wesley Peterson series (there are 22 books so far). Also Santa Montefiore Deverill chronicles.

The Clifton Saga by Jeffrey Archer was good. If you like Sword and Sorcery Fantasy, try The Belgariad by David Eddings. the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne MacCaffrey is a favorite.
Guess it depends on the genre you like, Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch series is very good imo, magic in modern times crime novels is probably the best brief description I can give.
The Evelyn Talbot series by Brenda Novak is fantastic. She gives the first one, Hanover House, for free in ebook form if you join her online book group on Facebook. She’s an amazing author!
Kathy Reichs ,Temperance Brennan as character in all series. Read around 18 books in 3 weeks . So good can hardly wait for next one. Start with book one read in order so fun to do it this way.
WooHoo, just found out my 20-something year old granddaughter (my daughter-in-law’s daughter) is thinking of switching her major to Forensics. She loves mysteries and thrillers – has never read any of Kathy Reichs books. Guess what she is getting for Christmas from us. LOL

Any by Kelley Armstrong. Women of the otherworld has 13. Her other series are great too and not all of an urban fantasy genre.
Christine Nolfi’s Sweet Lake series… women’s fiction. I fell in love with the Sweet Lake Sirens. Such wonderful characters.
