@Tina mine too!!
Do you have a group of similarly obsessed friends who gather each week to way the show? 😁
@Tina unfortunately, I don’t have any friends outside of work where I live. All my friends live in other cities. However, if we all lived close together, definitely.
Where abouts are you? If you’re L.A. or O.C based, come hang out with us; we love meeting other Jamie fanatics. 😁
@Tina I am in Daytona Beach FL
Suspense thriller. About Physcopaths. Its awesome. I just finished reading them last week
Elizabeth Heiter’s Profiler series with Evelyn Bain or Brenda Novak’s Hanover House series with Evelyn Talbot. Oddly i discovered these two authors within months of each other so the Evelyn names were an ironic coincidence to me.
I love The Tea Rose series by Jennifer Donnelly!
Nora Roberts Key Trilogy
William Kent Krueger Cork O Connor Series
The Hannah Vogel series by Rebecca Cantrell or The Girl from Berlin series by Ellie Midwood.
John LaCroix’s Dismas Hardy books.
Kent Krueger’s Cork O’Conner series (the first is Iron Lake), Louise Penny’s Three Pines series, Elizabeth Peters’ Amelia Peabody mysteries (first is Crocodile on the Sandbank), Rhy Bowen’s Royal Spyness series, and Darynda Jones Charley Davidson series (first one is First Grave on the Right; the 13th and final one comes out after the first of the year).
What kind of books do you like Sydney? I try to alternate my reading between genres. If you like British crime I have just finished “The Skeleton Room” by Kate Ellis, its number 7 in the Wesley Peterson series (there are 22 books so far). Also Santa Montefiore Deverill chronicles.

Mary Alice Monroe has Beach House series, Karen White has Trade Street series, just read first Masie Dobbs book in series
The Clifton Saga by Jeffrey Archer was good. If you like Sword and Sorcery Fantasy, try The Belgariad by David Eddings. the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne MacCaffrey is a favorite.
Guess it depends on the genre you like, Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch series is very good imo, magic in modern times crime novels is probably the best brief description I can give.
The Evelyn Talbot series by Brenda Novak is fantastic. She gives the first one, Hanover House, for free in ebook form if you join her online book group on Facebook. She’s an amazing author!
Any by Kelley Armstrong. Women of the otherworld has 13. Her other series are great too and not all of an urban fantasy genre.
Christine Nolfi’s Sweet Lake series… women’s fiction. I fell in love with the Sweet Lake Sirens. Such wonderful characters.
The Skylar Drake mysteries.
Kathy Reichs ,Temperance Brennan as character in all series. Read around 18 books in 3 weeks . So good can hardly wait for next one. Start with book one read in order so fun to do it this way.
@Cathy My almost non-reading husband likes Kathy Reichs books. They are good, hold the readers interest and move at a good pace.
WooHoo, just found out my 20-something year old granddaughter (my daughter-in-law’s daughter) is thinking of switching her major to Forensics. She loves mysteries and thrillers – has never read any of Kathy Reichs books. Guess what she is getting for Christmas from us. LOL
